On September 15th, 2025, the Ascent at Metropolitan in Naples was buzzing with excitement as EHAS INC (Everyone Has A Story) hosted its second Youth Empowerment Culinary Competition. Now, through this powerful recap video, you can relive the energy, the mentorship, and the incredible performances that made this night unforgettable.

Highlights You’ll See in the Video

Packed House Energy – With supporters from across Southwest Florida, the venue was filled with laughter, cheers, and encouragement for 12 courageous young chefs.

Team Introductions – Get to know the three teams:

  • The Rollin’ Pins, led by Chef Dwayne

  • Pumpkin Smashers, led by Chef Amy

  • The Fighters, led by Chef Mishel Pina

The Competition in Action – From hors d’oeuvres to appetizers, main courses, and desserts, watch the kids bring their creativity and teamwork to life under the guidance of their mentors.

The Big Wins –

  • The Rollin’ Pins took home the EHAS Culinary Trophy.

  • The Fighters earned Second Place and won the People’s Choice Award.

  • Chef Mishel Pina was honored as Best Mentor Chef, chosen by the kids themselves.

Memorable Moments – Judge Tito Ortiz praising the kids’ skills, Emcee Shari Armstrong guiding the evening with grace, and Phil from Wam Bam Podcast flying in from Atlanta to support the event while donating $1,000, merchandise, and books to empower the youth.
